This introductory course is designed for industry and agency personnel, and wildlife specialists involved in preparing for and responding to wildlife activities during an oil spill response in Australia.

- Articulate the purpose, necessity, and unique logistical challenges of an oiled wildlife response.
- Describe the various oil types and their specific physiological impacts on vulnerable wildlife.
- Identify and apply critical health and safety protocols required when operating in an oiled wildlife environment.

- Recognize the specific local and regional wildlife species most commonly impacted during a spill.
